counselling & therapeutic support at home
Counselling is recognised as an allied health service and a form of therapeutic support. This means it can be funded through your Support at Home package to meet your assessed care needs.
Counselling provided through your Support at Home package can include psychological counselling, stress management support, or other therapeutic activities that promote your emotional wellbeing.

Your Support at Home package funds can be used for a range of allied health and therapeutic services to support your emotional and mental wellbeing, including counselling to:
-
Maintain mental health and overall quality of life
-
Manage stress, anxiety, grief, or trauma
-
Promote relaxation, self-awareness, and resilience
-
Provide space for emotional expression and connection
-
Reduce isolation and enhance emotional wellbeing
-
Support cognitive and emotional health, especially when traditional talk-based therapies may not fully meet your needs

How It Works
Your Support at Home provider will assess your needs and determine if counselling services can be included in your care plan. Once your needs are approved, your provider can arrange and fund counselling as part of your package.

You are then welcome to book an initial call with me to discuss your care needs, explore what feels right for you, and begin your counselling journey.
referrals are welcome
I welcome referrals from Support at Home providers, care managers, GPs, allied health professionals and other members of a participant's support team.
To discuss a referral, please contact me

I am currently accepting new Support at Home participants.
