MACA L3
women's health counsellor + somatic psychotherapist + integrated mental health clinician
I’m a holistic women’s health counsellor, somatic psychotherapist and childbirth educator with over 25 years of experience supporting women and gender-diverse people through life’s most meaningful transitions.
Alongside my private counselling practice, I'm an experienced integrated mental health clinician, working in community health centres in regional Victoria.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, person-centred approach that honours the connection between mind, body and lived experience. I integrate evidence-based counselling and psychotherapy with body-aware practices such as mindfulness, breathwork and gentle somatic exploration, creating a space where you can feel safe, seen and supported.
I specialise in women’s mental health across the lifespan, including fertility challenges, pregnancy and birth preparation, postpartum support, motherhood and matrescence, menopause, mid and later life transitions. I also support clients navigating anxiety, grief and loss, chronic health conditions, pelvic pain, identity shifts, relationship challenges and emotional overwhelm.
I believe counselling is about walking alongside you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom, regulate your nervous system, and cultivate greater self-compassion, clarity and resilience. I warmly offer grounded, respectful support that meets you where you are, while gently supporting growth and change at your own pace.
I hold a Master of Counselling and am a registered Member of the Australian Counselling Association. I have additional training in trauma-focused acceptance and commitment therapy, perinatal mental health, somatic psychotherapy and diversity-affirming practice. In addition to this, I have been teaching therapeutic womanly yoga for over twenty years. My work is inclusive, culturally sensitive and aligned with feminist and trauma-aware values.
I offer counselling sessions in person in the Macedon Ranges, as well as online via secure telehealth, allowing flexibility and accessibility wherever you are.
